With over 100 million users and counting, Apple’s iPad is one of the most popular tablets available today. It is also Apple’s fastest-selling product ever, and we have some tips for you if you want to get more out of your new tablet — whether you’re an iOS veteran or a newbie!

App organization

Drag your favorite apps into folders to organize them to find them quicker. You can also drag folders to your Dock for instant access. First, create folders to organize your apps by type, so, for example, have Education & Work folder. To create a folder, use the ‘Create Folder’ icon. Then, drag the folder to your Dock for easy access to favorites.

The Dock

The iPad’s Dock is very different from the Dock on the iPhone. First, you swipe down on the Dock to get into it. Once inside, there are slots for permanently placed apps. There are also slots for frequently used apps. The Dock will display up to 13 apps at once. Also, if you already have apps open on your phone or mac, you can easily pull them over to your iPad for viewing.

Battery

You can find out more about your iPad’s battery health and which apps are doing the most draining by opening Settings > Battery. This list can help you quickly identify potentially draining or inefficient apps so you can take the necessary actions.

Keyboard

Holding a finger on the keyboard icon for a moment in iPad’s landscape mode will make the keyboard much smaller. It takes up less room and is more comfortable to use. You can resize the keyboard by dragging its bottom edge.

Screenshot

To take a screenshot of your screen, first press the Power and Volume Upor Home button to save the screenshot to your Photo Gallery. Pressing any button after taking a screenshot will show a thumbnail on-screen for a moment: tap on that to edit it before saving it as a new Saved Image.

2 in 1

You can access Slide Over from your iPad when in another app. Slide Over remembers which apps you used when in this mode, enabling you to switch quickly. First, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to switch between the apps. Next, swipe to show the Dock, find the app you want, and tap-hold on its icon to drag it upwards. The app will now be in its panel.

Share button

The Share button provides a quick way to share content from one app to another. You can also customize it – for example, if you click on the Share button and scroll right until you see More, you’ll be able to turn the feature off entirely.

PDF option

To take a website’s content and convert it into PDF format, all you need to do is bring up the Share menu in Safari. One of these available options is “Make PDF,” which can be very useful if the website might disappear anytime soon. Capturing screenshots of web pages has never been easier; you no longer need to scroll down the page before taking a screenshot. Instead, click the top option in the editing mode to grab the entire page. Clicking it again will show you what your capture looks like. Click outside of your capture to view it in full size.

Transfer images

There are many ways to get pictures onto an iPad without using an SD card. Using a Lightning/USB-C to SD card reader will be the easiest. Or you could get a device called an MFi (Made For iPhone) Camera Connection Kit. This accessory allows you to connect your iOS device to your external camera via the headphone jack.

Google Keep is an application released by Google in 2013, and it allows users to make notes and create lists. It has become a top-rated productivity app and has been downloaded over 10 million times on both IOS and Android devices. Keep is great for making lists or taking notes because it syncs with your phone and can upload files from your computer. For example, it means you can create a grocery list on your computer, open the app on your phone and add items as you go through the store.

The best part about Keep is that there are no limits to what you can store in Keep because it saves everything as an audio file, video file, photo, or text. It is easy to use for both beginners and experts alike, has a clean and fast interface, and also a notification system that alerts you when you have a new note. If you are not yet familiar with this app, it’s time to incorporate it into your daily use.

Use Google Keep As a Business Tool

Google Keep is a simple app for managing work tasks. Like any other management software, Keep is designed to keep track of the tasks assigned to you, but with a few more perks. For example, you can organize your assignments by assigning due dates and setting reminders. In addition, some features integrate with Google Docs, which allows you to work on Google Keep tasks directly from the app without navigating away from the screen.

1. Organize Your Notes

Organize your notes with folders so you can quickly find what you need without scrolling through all your available notes. In addition, folders are easy to assign by clicking on “new folder” and typing in the folder’s name you want to create.

2. Share Your Notes

While Google Keep may not be designed for collaboration, it does allow users to share their notes with other apps that work with it, like Gmail or Hangouts Chat. Sharing a note will give that person access to edit what you have created as well as add new content into this shared note

3. Take Voice Notes

If you’ve ever used the Google Search App for iOS or Android, then you’ll know that you can tap the microphone icon to ask questions. The same thing is with Google Keep notes. You can automatically transcribe voice notes into text by simply speaking. Easily find the content you’re looking for, especially if this is a feature you frequently use.

4. Add reminders to each note

You can customize notifications on reminders by adjusting settings for repeat frequency. You can also set your notes to remind you of them, say, once you reach a specific location via the “Remind Me” option on the note’s top right.

5. Add collaborators to your notes

Add collaborators to your notes for quick and easy communication about a project. Completed items on a checklist can be used to keep your team updated on what’s been done.

6. Color your notes

With Keep, you can color-code your notes and organize them by category. The app will then arrange them for you into a neat list. This way, you will always know which note to look at next.

7. Take photo notes

There are many ways to take notes, and it doesn’t always have to be text-based. If you see something interesting on the street, you can take a picture, and Google Keep will do the rest. This function can be used to store information from your camera roll or the internet. Just add a few photos from your phone to accompany your text and make a more comprehensive note!

Since the invention of the World Wide Web, there have been many advancements in technology. The web has evolved from being a text-based medium to one with multimedia capabilities. Alongside this evolution, there has been an increase in the demand for bandwidth capacity and the need for quicker connections capable of handling larger files. It is because of these reasons that web hosting services have come into existence.

Web hosting services are companies that provide space on their servers for your website’s content. All you need to do is upload your website files (HTML, images, CSS, etc.), and they will host them for you at their data center. This means that all your website’s visitors will connect to this third-party company’s server, and the company shall process all data under its privacy policy.

Web hosting is a complex need for every business these days. Most of the time, people don’t know which web host to choose for their business. Choosing a web host can be a complicated process as there are many different options available to you, each with its own set of pros and cons. You can waste hours trying to figure out which one is the right choice, but it’s hard to know what you’re looking for when you don’t have much experience in this field. Therefore, we are here to help you with the top 3 recommendations.

Types of Web Hosting Services

Web hosting services are a crucial part of a company’s business. However, there are a few different types that you want to consider before buying.

Shared hosting is the most popular web hosting service today. It provides website owners with an inexpensive way to have their websites hosted. The company will share its server resources with other clients. However, shared servers typically have many limitations, and the website owner will have little control over what happens on the server-side.

Virtual private servers allow customers to control their web hosting environment and features that shared hosts provide them. As a result, they have more resources at their disposal and can choose from a broader range of options for security and bandwidth management features, for example.

Dedicated servers are usually used by enterprise-level companies that require high performance, scalability, reliability, or availability. They allow for the customization of important variables like the number and type of CPU, amount of RAM, and disk space available to the server’s operating system.

Cloud hosting is an Internet hosting method that uses cloud computing. This type of hosting is also known as Web hosting, and it’s a form of “on-demand” hosting. It is an alternative to renting or leasing a physical server or data center space.

Managed hosting is an optimization service that can reduce the complexity of managing your server. With managed hosting, you only need to focus on your business and let the managed hosting company handle the server maintenance.

Colocation is the sharing of a physical location with one or more other businesses.  It saves money on IT infrastructure by grouping all the data centers in one physical space for an organization. In addition, this type of hosting service cuts down on costs associated with data centers, such as energy usage and cooling, because the same infrastructure can be used for multiple companies.
